Well, not to hack this thread, but (OMG - I just did, didn't I?) I've been
playing with the "NEEWER CN-LUX360"
shoe mount LED. The output is adjustable, it tilts up and down,locks in
position, comes with filters/difuser and
weighs almost nothing.Power comes from three AAA batteries.
And as long as I'm OT - also playing with a "PIXEL" wireless remote shutter
release on my E-1.Works really well,
even thru the closed patio door (after I remembered to turn the IR
receiver in my direction.) Quickly learned that
auto focus is not the best solution for bird feeder shots! Back to legacy
Zooks.
Both items were gifts from my younger daughter and son-in-law, and "very
reasonably priced" @ Amazon.
