I've been an RPN guy since my first calculator in high school, a National
Semiconductor scientific. It was great - nobody wanted to borrow it once
they couldn't find the "equals" key.
I've owned a couple of HP's over the years - still have the HP25c. Always
wanted a 41c when I was in college, but it was far beyond my means. Even
now, they're expensive. I bought an emulator app for my iPhone several
years ago, and it's great (except, as you mention, the tactile feedback).
If I were inclined, there are most of the plug-in modules available as
in-app purchases.
