After a lot of time, I finally have the Comodo Firewall installed in
laptop #2. I had some trouble installing it in laptop #1, but it was not the
fault of the software, just operator error. I uninstalled it from there for
the time being.
Looking at the list of TCP connections, I'm seeing something that's a bit
alarming. When I open a new page, the service host (SVCHOST) opens a
connection to 1e100.net, which is a Google-owned domain name used to identify
the servers in their network.
