     LOL!!

     I actually have two boxes of unused 5-1/4 floppy disks and a number of 
those old Compaq 8080 sewing machine portables.  With all the shielding in them 
they make excellent controllers for sensitive test equipment, so I have an HP 
GPIB interface card in one of them, a number of spare rives, and the test disk 
for aligning the head..

     These days I would be inclined to look for a GPIB to USB adapter.  They 
probably have those by now.

     At a place I worked at many years ago I could put a whip antenna on a 
spectrum analyzer and be able to tell you whose laptop was turned on by way of 
the noise.  You simply cannot use those things in a test equipment environment, 
and certainly not in a screen room for EMI testing.
