Essentially, "none of the above", if you don't stay constantly current
with every update.

But Microslush is the one which that meets the requirements of both
government and private sector agencies. Firefox meets some of the
requirements, but only when the screws are turned down so tight that
you can barely function. And there are some kiddy scripts out there
that will actually go and modify your security settings in Firefox,
plant a program, and then return the settings back to normal and you
are none the wiser.

Within most non-personal business uses, there is a huge amount of Java
code that has to be run. This is where it really gets tricky because
Microsoft refuses to run a lot of the code that even has a hint of
insecurity, whereas Firefox forces you to have deprecated versions in
order to run some versions of Java. It's this forced deprecation that
can run amok.

Basically, it's war.

But you can secure yourself many ways, and one of them is through
obscurity and deception. One of the neat things about Firefox is that
you can mimic another browser, so the script that is trying to change
settings gets hung up.

To Chris' question about Opera, it is one way to address it, but Opera
has other native flaws which are worse than playing "whack a mole".
