Ours was 'Jerusalem' which, in recent years, has been expunged from the
C of E song list allegedly on account of being unfavourable to a certain
but un-mentionable faith. It is hard to believe that one of the most
rousing pieces of choral music in the English language has suffered the
indignity of being arrested, and detained, by the British political
correctness police so as not to offend a small, but massively
influential, minority of the population.

This morning I received a Facebook message saying that :
"Just a reminder that Andrew has confirmed your friend request and you're now
friends on Facebook."
The issue is that (1) I am not a Facebook user other than dropping by the pages of a few family
relatives, (2) I have never put a "friend" request to Andrew, (3) Andrew has never put a
"friend" request to me or if he has I have never responded.
So, does anyone have any idea about what might drive a spurious FB message such
as the one I received?
Needless to say I have not, and will not, respond to the incoming message.
