Those turned out well. Especially liked the hydrangea.

Thanks!

I assume you know what the SIMA 100/2 Soft Focus lens is? If you excuse the misuse of "filter" for the aperture discs, aka Waterhouse stops, this is a good description/discussion. <http://oldlenses.blogspot.com/2009/12/fun-with-sima-sf-100mm-f2-soft-focus.html>

The LensBaby Single Glass should do something similar, except for perspective. I preferred that and the reach for this subject. I see there's a SIMA for sale on the 'Bay now for $25, but I already have two. :-) They are T-Mount, so adaptable to anything.

I see it's second in views, but well behind Another Floating Gold, which used a different approach to soft, an old T-Mount Sankor 135/2.8, plus Minolta C-U No.0, wide open.

How did you combine the different exposures?

Pretty simple, if one does masks. I did no other processing at all. Stacked the three exposures and put gradient circle masks on the upper two. I hope this is a clear illustration. <http://www.moosemystic.net/Gallery/tech/SIMA/HydraMix.htm>
