We have two defenses.

1. Cat's sleep a lot.
2. Cat Nip.

Back in 2005, a guy in Michigan was shot by his cat when the cat
knocked his gun off the kitchen cabinet while he was cooking.

I am of the opinion that we really are doomed. You can just see it in
their eyes. They are constantly sizing you up.
