You might want to reconsider that. Our representative form of government
here in the US was derived from native people, primarily Iroquois, studied by
Ben Franklin, Patrick Henry, and others. The book "Forgotten Founders" by
Johansen provides an interesting history.
THose native people derived a good degree of judgement by way of ancient
oral history and myths.
