You are reaching a little far, optical physics-wise.

On the sink windowsill, I have a slow motion performance art installation. The pieces and/or order change fairly often. This is what it looked like about 2.5 years ago. <http://zone-10.com/tope2/main.php?g2_itemId=14884>

It also provides a changing piece of shadow art on the other wall, at certain times of the year. <http://zone-10.com/tope2/main.php?g2_itemId=14893>

This shows how badly some of the glass needs cleaning.

Perhaps more significantly, it shows the glass Carol put some water and a coreopsis blossom in. The late afternoon sun was diffracted by that water and possibly the pattern in the crystal, down into the SS sink.

Is just a rainbow on an old SS sink.
