I was pondering that, John.  Yes, they are registered as road vehicles and have 
number plates and tax discs etc . . .  But they don’t do much travelling, as 
far as I can tell.  I’ve only rarely met one on the road when I’ve been 
driving.  They are extremely expensive to buy and to maintain.
