In theory, Adobe's DNG converter should turn the L 1 files into DNG's, but that 
is a rather old camera in digital dog years, so cant say for sure. But I have 
no problems with the DNG's I got from my Leica M9 so I don't see a problem. And 
of course I know nothing about C1 and DxO.

Agreed. My issue is pretty specific to DNG. However, to my question, 
if DNG is the magical formula here, I should be able to convert my 
Panasonic L1 files to DNG and then be able to process them in Capture 
One and DXO. But sadly, I don't think that is how it is working out.
