Hmm... Ken, wouldn't it be time for a second hand e-m1/5 to expand your
options?
My 11-22mm, which I loved, left the stable after I tested it against the
12-40mm. Ymmv of course, and n=1, but:
In the center it was only *very slightly* sharper @2.8 then the 12-40mm but
the corners were really no match. Stopped down I found no difference in the
center but the corners never came close.
So for a landscape lens, which I primarily used the 11-22 for, the 12-40
really is a no brainer.
Looking forward to Kens 'intangibles' with this lens ;-). But I find the
12-40 to have more of a '3d-pop' as well...
