And it is now my go-to lens for all things mega-wide. It's my first
rainbow picture that I've been able to take in a single shot.

Yesterday I was moving the remainder of my camera closet to the new
house. There were two lenses covered in a thick layer of dust. One of
them was the 24/2.8. I wondered why I haven't shot it lately, but then
realized that it was my wide-angle axe of choice when I didn't have
either the 21mm or 28mm lenses around. But with both the 21mm and
28mm, the 24mm is just plain redundant. If I could only choose one of
the three to take with me somewhere, the 24mm is probably still the
best choice. However, I'm not taking just one lens with me. This is
ALASKA! You don't go out the door without having every bit of kit with
you.

As is typical for me, I'll circle around to shooting it again.
