The last week of July was the last working week before the customary August
vacation, a bit over 3 weeks in my case. This being the last week of the month,
it also contained the last Friday of the month which, as usual, meant the
noontime drink in my department. We also had another outing to Hostal Maruja to
say goodbye to a trainee who is leaving us for bigger and better things. So in
general, there is quite a bit of eating and drinking in this blog, plus of
