I stopped by the airport while out on an errand run, and discovered a
pristine 1946 Piper J-3 Cub at the gas pump. This is the same model in
which I did all of my flight training in 1957-58. The big difference
between the one I flew and this one is that this one has 50% more
horsepower and a radio. The owner said it was bought new by his uncle,
and, except for a brief period, has been owned by his family.
