Agreed, but  that was not the point--did not articulate it well enough.  
Accuracy/precision to 5cm is well beyond what is useful, but the Galileo/L5 
systems don't go all wonky in valleys or with tall buildings. Wanted to avoid 
the off the wall geotags.  
The antenna in the Igot-u must not be very good as well--could not hope to be 
given the size.  This seems to be the transition year and that is the problem.  
Foretrex released about 9/17--just too soon.  The  current GPS chips are know 
to be power hogs
according to the hiking watch reviewers.

Now that is an innovative Moose type solution. Not on my radar.  Cool.
