Downdetector.com actually has a specific button for Facebook picture
problems. Right now I connect to Facebook by way of a server in the Washington
DC area (iad3).
I boiled down a 1.6M photo to 20K, and they still could not process it.
It was meant to be part of a neighbourhood posting about a police responce to a
domestic violence complaint.
