Please explain. I'm not that much younger than you, but still, can't you get a
card reader and get stuff downloaded faster than this? But I don't know what
card the e1 takes.

transfer cable. The modern SD cards and the like are taken for
granted. But, for some of us, with large, slow cards, this is how it's
