Bill, as I responded to Charlie, I have seen no reason to buy an
external card reader, since USB connectors were added to front of
computers. The built-in SD slot takes care of Fuji cards, and, for the
occasional CF transfer, the cables work just fine. At 88, I've got no
place to be in a hurry.
I also use a USB cable with my iPhone 6.
