I have the same problem.
Actually, the CC updater reported an error with updating LR Classic, but
the new option Enhance detail was in my LR menu when I opened it on my
desktop.
Then it said my windows was not up to date as well (it should be 1809 or
higher), although windows says it is fine. However if you look at your
version number (find it in the 'about' part) it is probably below 1809,
mine is 1803. So 1803 is OK, but it is not 1809. Oh well..
I'm looking in how to update to 1809 now....
