We're having one helluva time with the weather out here. It has been
raining all day, and the temperature here got up to 43F and then slowly
declined.
We're setting all sorts of records, and it ain't over yet. Tomorrow the
high will be just 51F, and the record is 54F, which was set way back in 1898.
Snow levels in the Rim country could be as much as three feet, which will set
new records everywhere up there.
Highways to the north and east have been closed since this morning, and
Interstate 40 has come to a standstill.
Yes, I know that there has been severe weather all over this winter, but
for us here in the mild, mild west this is extreme.
