The photos look very good, Tina.

Whether it’s slave labour would be difficult to tell in certain circumstances, 
but if they’re free to stop and smile for the camera it’s very unlikely that 
they’re “slaves”.  As you know from your travels, some peoples are condemned to 
a life of poverty, condemned by the political situation, the environment or 
their lack of education; these people are, as you write, happy to have a job.  
But their bodies will suffer from this heavy labour – their necks were not 
designed to sustain such loads and they will feel the effects before they are 
very old.

I’m glad that you and they enjoyed the photography.
