Yes, Williams engines are in a lot of places. 


Actually, the parachute system scares me a bit. I saw a report on TV that an 
unusual number of their aircraft had deployed the chute. But I'm not sure that 
they don't sell a product that attracts inexperienced owner-pilots.

Williams originally manufactured cruise missile engines. After testing 
their engines at AEDC, one of my neighbors went to work for Williams. 
They have developed a line of dependable engines that are used in a 
number of aircraft.
