I agree that an E-M1 mark I is a better choice then an E-3/5. I love mines.
Moose didn't mention silent shooting as a feature, but for me that is one
of the best of modern mirrorless camera's.

But, as far as I know the mark I has no High Res mode (I sure would like to
discover it ;-), and for the 50-200mm SWD no build-in focus stacking.

That option is only available with the m43 macro lenses and most (not all)
m43 pro lenses (just checked it because my new 12-100mm had it greyed
out... ;-(. However, with one of these lenses it is a fantastic feature.

But actually, if you can afford it, go for the mark II. The IBIS is even
better, it has the HighRes mode, but even more important if you like
pictures of birds, small animals like butterflies and an occasional
(grand-grand) child ;-), it has ProCapture. An unique feature that captures
continuously pictures when you have the shutter half pressed, and saves the
last couple (customizable) when you press the shutter. So you get birds
prior to leaving, with their wings flapping, butterflies just before they
disappaer, children smiling just before they freeze on you with your big
lens and camera, etc.

It will be my next Oly purchase...

I'd surely would like you to sell one of my e-m1's (mk I), but
unfortunately I'm in Europe... ;-)

Whatever you choose to buy, enjoy!
