The European path still shows it making a direct hit on Florida. Wind
gusts are 220 MPH right now as it hits Abaco. My grandchildren are being
evacuated from Charleston to here. I hope it's far enough away!
Wow. I wasn't surprised to read this morning that Hurricane Dorian
had reached category 5 status, but the latest discussion posting from
NHC
now states that it is the strongest storm ever recorded in the northwest
Bahamas. Good thing it's remaining off shore.
