The OMZ 300/4.5 is the Jimi Hendrix (Purple Haze) of Zuikos. I
consider it to be usable on some digital cameras, but certainly not on
others. I had very little issue with it on the Canon 6D, but it was
generally a mess to behold on some of the Four-Thirds cameras. I'm
still learning what the characteristics are on the GX-85. As to
sharpness, I think there is some sample variation, but the lens/camera
combination is usually really susceptible to camera shake. The GX-85's
IBIS tackles the vibration pretty well, but quickly runs out of
suspension before it decides that it's time to recenter and try over.
