Huh? I just fired up my A7 which happened to have a DSTE battery in it. No such message or need to do anything but take
a picture. I also have a Sony battery, but use them interchangeably. Battery % display seems to work the same with
either, too.
A new thing? Only on some models? I think occasionally of getting an A7 II, for
the IBIS, and would hate to run into that.
