I don’t understand your « renaming » photos. When I search for a file/photo,
keywords and optionally year and/or camera are the easiest and fastest way to
find them.
As an LR user, I don’t give a damn what they are called, and most of the time
where they are located so long as they are on MY computer or disks, and not in
the cloud.
However, I give them a name on « export » in JPEG for instance. The rest is
left for LR to deal with.
