To the best of my knowledge, we have no COVID-19 cases in our county.  I made my every-two-weeks trek to the grocery this morning, and, at 10:a.m. on Sunday, there was no crowd.  Things were fairly well stocked except for paper goods, and sugar.  I got one of their few bags of sugar, and the manager said only a few are coming in.

No one was using masks or gloves.  The checkout stands do have plastic barriers between the checker and the customer.  People were spacing out properly, and things were going smoothly.

Tucson locked itself down a couple of days ago, though I don't know the

I'm waiting to see what happens a week from now. I've noticed that this
virus prefers cooler, damp climates and we will be in the upper 80s, maybe even
90 by the end of this week. That may cause our rate of infections to level off
or even decline. Just have to wait and see.

The grocery store situation is slowly improving. I went out early and
found a gallon jug of bleach for a friend. Canned goods and meat are
approaching normal, but rice, pasta, and dried beans are still being pillaged.

I now have two coffee shops where I can do a takeout and then sit outside
and use their wifi. Not ideal, but it sure beats staying at home all day long.

Here in Alaska, we're now under statewide house arrest. I'm
paraphrasing what the governor said, but essentially it's "Stay
inside, but this is Alaska, and nobody really likes to stay inside, so
go ahead and hike, ski, bicycle and walk. But just stay six feet apart
>from each other."
What really is important is that we now are under full non-critical
travel restriction. We're not allowed to travel to other communities.
We did a bit of driving around today before lockdown.
