I've been using the 50-200 SWD on my E-M1 and like it quite well.  At the short end of the focus range, the AF sometimes gets a little touchy, but when it locks on, it is solid.

Yes! Even though this was sold as a "High Grade" lens, it merits the SHG 
designation in my book, except for the fact that the aperture changes with zoom.

But if you're at all thinking about ring flash, be aware that the E-System ring 
flash will not mount on the SWD version.

I'm scratching my head at why some engineer decided they needed to change the 
hood bayonet mount (which is used to mount the ring flash) between the non-SWD 
and the SWD versions of this lens. They use the same filter size, so there's 
really no excuse for such a gratuitous change.
