Yes, Moose, that would be nice.  But I'm an old tightwad.

Never too late . . .

I bought a used OM-D E-M1, not the Mark II, and they don't list that as a compatible body.  Maybe they just ignored it, as most folks do.  But it works for me.

Huh? It works with any µ4/3 body, from Oly E-P1 to E-M1x, from oldest to latest
Panny body.

I only does Panny's Dual-IS, combining OIS and IBIS for better overall results, with later Panny bodies with IBIS. But I used mine on E-M5 II bodies with excellent results; over 10,000 exposures.

But since I'm 90, and an endangered species, $1600 is a lot of investment, so I
will probably forego the temptation.

To me, there's  choice there between the combination of fun and frustration, of keeping old gear at work, vs. the ease and better focus on moving things of current tech.

Unless I decide it is a good place to invest the government's $1200 gift.

'Ya gotta spend it on something, or you frustrate its purpose! :-)

Do you have one in hand?

I hovered on B&H's web site, checking regularly, on the day it was supposed to become available to order. When it switched from "Available Soon" to "Pre-Order" I ordered one of the first ones available in the US.

I've never regretted that for one millisecond.

It has since conveyed photons to form an image captured by a sensor over 13,000 times. (That's an implied overstatement, in a way. A significant portion of those are focus brackets, where 11 to 40 exposures are combined into one photo with much greater DoF.)
