Yes, Philippe, the tilt screen is a wonderful help.  When I built this house, fifty years ago, I put a half-bath in the corner of the garage, so that I could clean up after dirty jobs.  I have removed the screen, so that raising the window sash provides me a blind looking out on the back yard.  I can shoot from an old tripod and swing the camera to cover most of the yard.  I can use either the ZD 50-200 or the Telyt-R 250 + 2X Ext from that spot.

If I were to lie down like Doug does, I'd still be there. Getting up is difficult after one turns 90.

Thanks for the encouraging words!

You’re getting better by the hour Jim

As I can’t picture you lying on the ground as Doug probably does, my question
is did you use the flappable/tilt screen?

The Brown Thrasher is usually never far from cover in a bush row. This is his

Rain runoff collects seeds beneath the feeders. The Mourning Doves work this
area in the late afternoon.
