I have nothing blooming at this time.  Still awaiting the Buddleia, probably a 
month away.

Looks like a good year for our Buddleia, likely best yet. One bloom and lots of buds.

My only comment is that the direct sun has made the specular
highlights just a touch too distracting.

I can eliminate them. but when I do, the red loses it's appearance of gloss. And the berries are glossy. I can tone them down and have a little red in them. That's not bad, but still, the red seems less vibrant. I think that's really the way we see them in the sun.

I generally prefer photographing bright colors in the sun. Proper exposure and processing keep clipping away from all but specular highlights. Sure, they are pretty in the shade, but they lack the vibrant color which is what I like about them

As I have before, I've decided I like it best with them.
