There are many possibilities.

An intriguing one would be Panasonic putting an APS sensor in L mount, with
a 1.2-1.4x (of something like that) converter from m43 to L. If feasible of
course, I'm no expert.

That would solve the lack of upgrade path from m43 to L which I'd expect
them to cost L market share.
The tele's might have an image circle interesting enough for FF, and as I
understood a teleconverter will increase the image circle.
