After yesterday's rainstorms, the grass was still pretty wet this
morning, but I checked out a busy corner. Considering his size, this
ant chose some rugged territory for his morning walk.

I recognized this plant from barnyard adventures of my childhood, but
never knew the name. Google tells me it is Horse Nettle, a common weed
in the Southeast U S, and a member of the Nightshade family. Can be
poisonous to livestock if consumed in large quantities.
