Thanks Dean.  I've never seen one.  They are mostly in Western MA.   I think 
the images I've seen of them had more eyespots but suspect that is variable. 
I always have the disclaimer as have NE Mass blinders on as I almost never 
study those elsewhere as major interest is in photography not the critters per 
se. I'll ask about them at the next outing.

I'll be gunning for Bronze coppers on our native asters--a great shot though it 
takes a good bit of luck.  Our drought can't be helping, so seems  chances may 
be slim. Second flight usually starts about now.
