The apparently objective world in which I exist, if I do, is as it is, whether or not there is objective reality at the smallest levels.

More a philosophical problem that a science problem, no?

Reminds me of Robert Laughlin's position that quantum mechanics won't sum up to larger size, and the behavior of matter above the level of a few (hundred? thousand?) atoms is emergent behavior.
