I use MySQL. (Actually, MariaDB, a MySQL fork.)
I imagine there are MySQL clients for IOS. There certainly are for Windows,
MacOS, and Linux.
As a general-purpose database, it’s not as “spiffy” as a one-trick wonder, but
it is so much more versatile! It can hold your stamp collection, or your camera
collection, or any other row-and-column data you want to hold.
You can fairly easily self-host, or there are inexpensive (and perhaps even
free) MySQL servers running in the cloud out there.
