I wouldn't trust even the manufacturers service centres !

A couple of times I've booked vehicles in for service [NISSAN & VW GOLF] and 
given the dealers a list of safety related issues (at the time of booking - 
week's notice) to fix, when I've gone to pick up the vehicles I've had the 
story "We did the scheduled service, washed and vacuumed the vehicle, but we 
didn't have time to do the other things you asked for, book it in for another 
time". 

You can imagine my response !  Absolute ARSEHOLES !  Needless to say I've never 
been back to those service centres, found a closer private mechanic who 
actually fixed problems !
