I have never yet managed a decent macro-landscape stack. I have had some
changes of lighting occur when outside hand stacking some macro shots.
I usually identically pre-process the raw files to tiff before stacking. If
hand stacking in PS it is more imp't to get the exposures about identical.
Most stacking programs can accommodate a moderate degree of difference
and will compensate with a check box. Macrolandscape is an extreme with
perhaps almost a 2 stop difference going from 1:1 to infinity. It might be
one instance when aperture priority mode makes more sense than Manual mode with
a manual stack ---this one on a bellows.
