You are probably struggling to carry this word from one point to
another. That's understandable, because it's actually a French term.
In this specific example, there is a place to pull the canoes and
kayaks out of the water where they can then be carried down a trail to
a safe place where they can be put back into the water again. The
"Campground Rapids" as it is called, is technically a Class III, but
during melt or during wet weeks, it can advance to a low Class IV.
