And to further prove the theory of production code switch from under the
focus rubber to the back of the lenses: I have a 135mm macro coded G06
(06/1980), 300mm coded K12 (02/1981), 28-48 zoom coded B23 (03/1982), from
1983 on everything is in the XX34 format on the back of the lens. Maybe we
knew this already:).
