When I took the f1.2 Camellia stack, I also took one at f5.6. Not the careful researcher that I'd like to imagine I might be, they were taken over an hour and a half apart, and the angles aren't quite the same. (It took me some time to get enough slices @ f1.2.)

Still, I find the comparisons interesting and useful, so someone else may also . <http://www.moosemystic.net/Gallery/tech/Lenses/Oly%20F1dot2s/Camelliadof.htm>

I do seem to have achieved one thing I was looking for, very deep DoF, with nice detail, but without edgy sharpness - another tool in the kit. The f1.2 stack is now the background on my 24" monitor, and looks mighty nice. A largish print may be in the offing.

This year, it saved itself for Leap

At least this first one is upright, and tilted slightly toward the camera. Perfect pose.

Thanks

Was this stacked?

91 frames @ f1.2. I had to take care, so the tall stack wouldn't fall over. 😉

I had to stop myself from a little sharpening, as the point was very deep DoF, good detail, with no edginess. It's a shot that really couldn't be made even just a few years ago. Outdoors, light rain and wind that got heavier just as I finished.
