I've just found the spec at:

A quick comparison with the IS-200 gives the following:
Apparently IS-300 has the same 28-110 4x zoom lens, but also
*More powerful built-in IVP flash with GN16 for wide-angle (IS-200:
GN14) and GN25 for telephoto (IS-200: GN18)
*Super FP flash in portrait mode for full synchro up to 1/2000 sec
(will it be sold in the US with this feature?)
*Auto Colour-Balancing Flash that detects the wavelengths of
flourescent or other artificial lighting
*High precision AF system with CMOS line sensor delivers improved AF
performance (works even at EV-1 with ISO 100)
*The Predictive AF system (in Stop Action Mode only) is used to follow
a moving subject and keep it in sharp focus
*Exposure Compensation +/- 2 EV in ½ -step increments (first smaller
IS camera with this feature)
*Integrated lens cap that can be closed even when a filter has been
added to the lens (some limitations on IS-200)
*Optional 1.45x C-160 and 1.9x C-210 H.Q. converters (only a 1.7x
C-180 converter with the IS-200)
Dimensions and weight are the same as IS-200, except for a 10 g weight
increase.
The introduction of this camera makes me believe that just maybe we'll
eventually see an IS-3(000)S with some of the improvements mentioned.
At the very least it is proof that the IS line is not completely dead.
