I own a T-45 and an F280. They both work fine, but I'm not sure I would
recommend either to you. For "photographing babies" around the house,
my choice would be the T-45 - but I already have a working battery and
charger. It's probably not the right system to buy into right now. I
have an OM-1 body with a dead meter that lives on the T-45, making it
the llargets and most expensive Instamatic extant. I've been using the
F280 shoe mounted on an OM-3Ti - but the F280 clearly isn't optimal for
you.

I recommend the system that I have on my current "buy when it appears
cheap enough" list. A T-32 mounted on a Power Bounce Grip 2. All the
weight and flexibility of the T-45, and no worries about the battery or
charger. Plus, a handy shoe-mounted flash for the occasions where that
works.
