Maybe an A-200 converter may turn handy. No or very little aperture loss, 
but I believe useful since 100mm onwards only. You'd get a 150-220 f/5 this
way. With a 1,4 offbrand converter you'd get a 105-210 f/5,6 instead.

Very bad news compared to a nowdays (Sigma, Tokina) 80-200 range f/2.8 zomm
with *dedicated* 1.4x and 2x converters. If you need duplicating a zoom this
should be your way.
