Chip,
Mail order will usually be less expensive. Both Tamrac and Lowe are good,
so is Tenba. Tenba has good stuff, but doesn't advertise well (too
engineering oriented as opposed to marketing, in my opinion).
I bought a Tenba backpack, new, with side pockets on eBay for $36. I holds
my OM and Novoflex lenses just great.
I've also found packs like that in a couple of stores that deal heavily in
used gear.
The Outpack line also looks pretty good and doesn't seem to be advertised
as well (consequently lower prices?).

As one of the list's newest members who asks questions and has never
answered one yet, I don't want the senior statesman of the group to think
their information to me has not been acted upon. Since joining the list a
scant four weeks ago, I've become a much more informed and shrewd consumer
of Olympus equipment. In fact, I've made speedy use of this new knowledge
and have been on a shopping spree as of late. To date, it's costing me
about $110 for each question I pose. So, here's another $110 worth:
I'm looking for a new camera bag to carry around all of my new purchases;
I'm fond of the newer backpack style. I looked at a couple of brands (Lowe
& Tamarac Expedition) in a nearby camera store and found that most of what
I
liked was running around $200. Does anyone have a more economical source
for such items (mail order, specialty store) ?
