To the best of my knowledge, that is correct.? A list member a couple years ago provided a link to a more detailed article on Ms. Bown which did mention that, as I recall.? Perhaps the MTF? of the lens should fall exponentially with age and the?FL increase linearly.? "Working distance" may become imp't. Mike Did the venerable Ms. Bown use an 85mm? If I had to capture Betty, I'd be inclined to use something longer - much longer.
