Lee, you are absolutely right. I can barely believe the gall of
someone who is in the trade and can just grab the absolute best
bargain that shows up and then say your price is off target in
comparison.
It would be just as logical for you to point out that it is
possible that some poor blighter has received less than a fair
price for his gear from some dealer, but you are too much of a
gentleman to do that.
The only decent thing to do if you don't like the price someone is
asking is to bite your tongue in public and bargain with the person
privately if you want what they are offering.
